ABOUT US
First Steps Early Childhood Learning Center believes
that the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development begins in the first few years of a child's life. Knowing the tremendous impact these early experiences have on a child, it is our goal to provide a nurturing
environment where we can work together with the
parents to make each child's first years a positive and beneficial experience.
Our individual classes are age-divided, with exceptionally small class groups. A warm and caring staff utilizes a professional curriculum and the very best in educational toys and equipment.
PROGRAMS
Infants ( 6 weeks - 12 months)
Staff members work to maintain a soothing home-like environment that recognizes each baby's natural
feeding, sleeping, and play rhythms. The following
components are integrated into each infant¡¯s schedule, and allow infants to explore, develop, and grow.
-Personal needs/Nap
-Cuddling and rocking
-Circle time, finger plays, and songs
-Exploring age appropriate toys
-Art projects
-Floor time to develop gross motor skills
-Language Development
-Toddlers (1¡ª2 years)
-Twos ( 2 - 3 years)
-Preschool (3 - 4 years)
-Pre-Kindergarten (4 - 5 years)
DAILY SCHEDULE
Our goal is to build the groundwork for healthy routines and schedules later on in life. Every day, we incorporate all facets of your child¡¯s development. Here is a sample of what your child might experience in a day:

With our open-door policy, parents are encouraged to come by and observe our classes at any time. Our interior windows provide easy visibility into our classrooms, and our secure LIVE WEBCAMS enable parents to stay
connected from anywhere with internet access.
