Improving the Quality of Life for Children with Disabilities
The Miriam Foundation is a volunteer membership organization committed to improving the quality of life for families challenged by disability or illness through independent programs and collaberations.
Miriam School is an accessible and modern educational facility for children with complex learning disabilities. The new building has centralized Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language Therapy rooms and classrooms that are each equipped with observation booths. For over 50 years, Miriam School has successfully encouraged children with complex learning disabilities to recognize and successfully meet their potential.
The Miriam Learning Center (MLC) offers comprehensive resources that can help diagnose and treat issues that impact educational performance. MLC brings together services for such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and tutoring in a single location.
